Parley is published by Zee Palm ("we", "us"). This policy explains exactly what the app collects, where it goes, and how to get rid of it. It describes the app as it actually works, not a generic template.
| Data | Why | Where it is stored |
|---|---|---|
| Email address and password | To create your account and sign you in. Passwords are hashed by our authentication provider; we never see them. | Supabase (United States) |
| Your messages, and the replies generated for you | So your conversations survive a reinstall and follow you to a new device. | Supabase (United States) |
| Photos you attach to a message | So the contact can respond to them, and so the photo stays in the thread. | Supabase Storage, private bucket (United States) |
| A one-line summary per day of each conversation | So a contact remembers roughly what you have discussed before. | Supabase (United States) |
| Credit balance and usage history | To run the credit system and to bill correctly. | Supabase (United States) |
| Subscription status | To know whether your subscription is active. | RevenueCat, and Apple |
| The name you choose to be called, your chosen theme and language | App preferences. | On your device only |
We do not collect your contacts, your location, your device identifiers for advertising, or your browsing activity. Parley contains no advertising SDKs and no third-party analytics.
We use a small number of processors, each for one clearly defined job:
In the app: Settings → Delete account. This permanently removes your profile, every conversation and message, every photo you attached, your daily summaries, your usage history and any remaining credits. It cannot be undone, and remaining credits are not refundable.
Signing out does not delete anything. If you would rather we did it for you, email us and we will action it within 30 days.
We keep your data for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account the data listed above is removed immediately. Backups are overwritten on a rolling 30-day cycle, after which no copy remains.
Every contact in Parley is an AI simulation built from the public record. No contact is the real person, no contact speaks for the real person, and nothing a contact says is a genuine quotation. Replies are generated and may be wrong. Nothing in the app is professional, legal, medical or financial advice.
Parley is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct, export or erase your personal data, and to object to processing. The delete option in the app covers erasure. For anything else, email us — we will respond within 30 days.
If we change this policy materially we will update the date above and notify you in the app before the change takes effect.
